I went during lunch and it was a little crowded. Due to the layout, there is a bottleneck at the front of the house where people are either being seated or ordering food to take out. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait for a table, so we decided to order take out instead. We were just getting a simple grilled cheese sandwich and french fries. We also ordered 2 sodas. We asked if we could order milkshakes to go, and there seemed to be some confusion as to whether that could happen, so we just opted for sodas. Normally, the staff give you your drinks while you're waiting. This didn't happen. 10 minutes later, we asked about our drinks and the waitstaff tried to ring us up again. We said we already paid and were still waiting. Another 5 minutes passes and I can see our drinks on the bar. I had to ask the person to grab it. My drink order happened to be a coke instead of a diet, so I had to get that fixed. 45 minutes later, we finally got the sandwich and fries. You would expect them to be piping hot, and it was room temperature. How disappointing! The sandwich was a lot of bread with 2 slices of fake cheese. I'm not sure if that's exactly what it was, but it tasted like those cheese slices you have to unwrap. It didn't taste like a deli cut cheddar or anything. The bread was so thick that it felt like I was choking a little and had to drink to soften the bread. It was really disappointing, the service was poor and the food wasn't anything memorable.
Nice, hip local restraunt. Malts are highly recommended. Kinda pricey but overall good!
It was ok. The juicy Lucy was good but the malts were average. The night crew is very slow.
Great place!! Friendly staff, great food, great prices and even though the place was full we were served right away and never had our drinks go dry
This is my first time writing a review for Google. But this just for the AMAZING service we received from Tommy's. For some reason, Google didn't update their new hours so a bunch of friends and I came in just a few minutes after 9 pm. Even though they were closed (Fall hours they close at 9pm, Summer is 10pm), they opened their doors for us and were willing to take our shake orders. They went ABOVE and BEYOND from what I expected. We got prompt service and the shakes/malts were amazing. I highly recommend the coffee and chocolate blend. Again, thank you so much! You guys are the best!
