Haven't been to a Perkins in a long time. Had a breakfast that was both delicious and healthy. Will definitely be going back!
Wait staff was unfocused with their duties and I had to wait 10 plus minuted to be even recognized as a customer much less seated. I almost left but I was really hungry.
Good restaurant. My wife and I stop their on the way out of cities occasionally. The only complaint was the last time of our visit, bad server attitude. When I asked about a certain menu item, he sarcastically responded "Do you think I try everything?" I wasn't even trying to find out the taste, just what was included in that selection. Arrogant, did come back for drink refills had to flag him down or ask another server to help.
I never ever post for anything but I really felt like I needed to for this. We got there around 6:50 pm and we didn't get our drinks until about 30 minutes in because the waitress started cleaning and forgot. She was very apologetic and nice which is why they got a 2 and not a 1 star. She took our orders and we waited. We had a very hungry 2 year old with us that was starting to get cranky, we waited another 30 minutes for her to come and tell us that the ticket had been lost and that she was going to give us a discount. The food was still not ready and we told her we were going to eat somewhere else. She brought my daughter her fruit thankfully so we were able to get something into her quick before we left. I had been there a few other times and was not very happy with the service and food. It had been well over a year and we wanted to try it again and we ended up leaving an hour later with empty bellies and frustrated. We won't be going back.
Once I was seated things progressed a little better. The cook at least was on top of things. He prepared a delicious hamburger and fries.
For their part the wait staff acknowledged their substandard service and offered me a free piece of pie. Which I was grateful for.
Food is usually pretty good. A standard Perkins restaurant. Some servers are attentive and some are not. The women's restroom is usually in need of cleaning.
Nice location convenient to multiple shopping opportunities. But the service was slow. A lot of the tables were dirty and cluttered with un-bussed tables.
