This is a must see attraction in Minneapolis - whether you live here or here as a tourist during fall. Quiet spectacular and huge. Fall colors really show well across various types of plants and trees. Bringing camera is a must and keep a spare battery! You will not get tired of taking pictures. A slow drive around the 3 mile loop is a great finale once you walking tour is over.

There really is something for everyone here and for every ability. If you want to explore long, quiet wooded trails they have them...if you need to stay on a paved path, they have that too and you won't feel like you are missing out.

Nice way to spend an afternoon. Recommend going at different times of the year to see what is in bloom. Get a membership and enjoy the place all year. Plant sale in the early spring is great way to get some interesting plant varieties.

$15 fee to get in felt like it was kind of high if you come with your family. But a membership is tax deductible and comes with a lot of benefits (unlimited visits for a year) and well worth it if you plan on returning more than once.

We are always amazed at the beauty of the arboretum. Whether it's fall or summer, the place is great for a long walk, a picnic or just to reconnect with family and get away from technology. It's not the cheapest place to go and for those of us who don't live in the Western suburbs, it's a haul. If you live in the twin cities, you should definitely make the trip.

Fabulous place to visit. Not much to see in winter, but other seasons show off the various gardens. The iris garden in spring is breathtaking. Great place to see how different trees and shrubs will do in your own yard. Apple House is open in fall, great place to buy apples. They have varieties developed by the U. Nice walking trails. Spring peepers walk is fun. There also is a maze, which is nice to explore. Great gift shop. Discount for members. Also somewhat spendy self service restaurant.

Their website is very informative along with staff on site to help if you need them.

It is also nice that there are restroom facilities throughout the property so if someone in your group has a need to be close to one, you won't feel limited there either.
