Was able to get a last minute appointment to see Dr. Townsend. My son had a wrist injury from football and we needed it examined to determine severity. Doctor did not examine the wrist at all, just ordered an X-ray. She determined that it as a break in the same areas as the growth plates, sent us to Orthopedics to have it cast. Orthopedics took one quick look at his hand and the X-ray, determined it was not broken. Glad by the outcome and diagnosis. At the time I felt that she rushed into the diagnosis without having a tech review. She said the tech was still reviewing but she knew it was broken. It didn't sound like protocol from previous experiences I have had but she sold it like she had seen it a thousand times before...
What the billing department did was immoral, irresponsible, and just wrong.
Ridgeview is not looking out for the patient or customer, but their own bottom line.
Positives- on time appt, fit in last minute appts
Negative- lost work time and an incorrect diagnosis, unnecessary medical bills that will need to be paid....
Now it is the second week of February 2016, and thanks to Deb I am out $1593. My health insurance deductible was sent into a tail spin, my medical bills are now in collections and I never received the refund of $1593 that was collected by Ridgeview. More than one of these representatives tried to place the blame on the patient or myself. How is it my fault that no one in the billing department could not follow through on their job? That it took me to call months later for steps to be taken for the claim to be submitted correctly to my Insurance.
Kelly: your review was for the Ridgeview Chaska Clinic, not the Ridgeview 212 Urgent Care / ER as stated in your actual review. Please be advised. I can't speak of the 212 Urgent Care / ER but the Chaska Clinic is a wonderful place. I do feel for your situation in regards to the billing aspect but hopefully people distinguish between the 2 sites. It may have just been oversight?
Tricia sited laws and policies. Not one that was adhered to while handling this patient bill at the beginning in April 2015.
Dr Scott is awesome! She is very thorough and knowledgeable. Dr Scott talks in a manner I can completely understand.i was showing results n two days. I'm ecstatic! I highly recommend Dr Scott!!
Dr Ready is a thorough physician who takes the time to listen and willing to dowhat it takes to find the problem
Unfortunately my daughter visited the ER April of 2015. At that time she had presented all relevant medical insurance information. Fast forward 3 months later and my daughter gets a threatening call from collections for a $1593 bill. Which was paid immediately. This by all accounts should have met my health insurance deductible. Shortly thereafter I start receiving medical bills from my Doctor, I called Ridgeview billing inquiring if this had been sent through my health insurance. After being transferred from Steph, then to Donna with one representative in the middle and a month later this ER visit had never been put through Anthem. Another month later, the claim was refused, Donna had to resubmit the claim through Anthem. During these 3 months I had made multiple requests to NOT to credit the visa, that the visa was deactivated and the money was needed to pay my medical bills.
